Spacetime: Yard in Flux

I was once at point A and later I will be at point A. This is a chart

of self-proximity. On the fourth axis, I graph

my movement and determine the coil.

At the point, I’m breaking a robin’s egg. At the point

there is a door in the garden. In some curvatures,

it is rusted, in some, it’s surrounded

by raspberries & perennials. In some,

I grow hot peppers & zucchini.

Other rotations:0000ball and socket, bottle,

00000000000000000hula hoop,

00000000000000000sledgehammer

Tell me the difference between the tilt-a-whirl and the mobile and I

will give back a calendar

I cannot tell the pitch of the spiral but can say that here

the earth is level, at another point,

there are bluffs, at another, the glaciers

The graph intersects at I am sleeping and the dog twists her stomach and doesn’t

at I remember the kite and there is a breeze

I build a windmill I do not build a generator

I am supposed to build a screw and get stuck

at pulley

this a maypole                    this is the record

Bat no. 2

In my dreams, you were planning your own funeral. The wake happens

and you are alive. I wake up to see a bat circling my face.

I never used to have nightmares. We went for years without bats.

Just ladybugs dragging themselves in each winter to die in the heat.

You die at the peak of summer in a town on the water.

The dreams don’t come in the hospital.

The bat comes and the dreams return. The first ladybug

appears on my ceiling and vanishes when I turn my back.
